IRTE Northern Centre successfully host their Annual Dinner Dance
The IRTE Northern Centre held its annual dinner dance at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Accrington, on Saturday the 28th of October. Industry partners, IRTE members, and senior SOE/IRTE representatives were all in attendance for an evening of good food, entertainment, and fellowship.

Guests were greeted at the hotel entrance by a display of modern commercial vehicles from Renault and Volvo, setting the tone for a night of celebration. The event featured a drink reception, a delicious three-course meal, a table magician, a raffle, and an auction.
The Hon. Chairman Sam Archer addressed those present at the start of the evening and celebrated the continued success of the centre and its activities over the past 12 months. He thanked the table sponsors and all of those in attendance for their continued support.
The evening's entertainment included a Stars in Their Eyes competition, with participants from most of the sponsored tables taking on the roles of rock guitarist Angus Young from AC/DC and pop duo George Michael and Andrew Ridgley from Wham.
The Northern Centre committee also invited the fundraising team from the Northwest Blood Bikes to attend the event. Along with Neil Mitchell, the team held an auction and raffle that was superbly supported by all those in attendance. The centre committee was extremely pleased with the positive feedback that was given to them by many of those attending the event and had sponsors already inquiring about booking places for the 2024 function.
Overall, the IRTE Northern Centre Annual Dinner Dance was a resounding success, providing a great opportunity for industry professionals to come together and celebrate the success of the region.
