What is the SOE Mentorship Programme?
Our Mentoring Programme was created to facilitate meaningful relationships between mentors and mentees, and advance the engineering profession through knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration.
This programme is available to all our members, whether you are an experienced engineer who want to share expertise, give back to the profession, and help shape the next generation of engineers, or an aspiring engineer eager to learn, develop skills, and navigate your career.

Become a Mentor
Do you have experience worth sharing? Being a Mentor gives you the chance to guide the next generation of engineers and strengthen your own leadership skills along the way.
Become a Mentee
Just starting your career and looking for guidance? Become a Mentee and connect with industry leaders ready to share valuable insights and experiences.
Supporting Career Growth at Every Stage
Mentees gain clarity and direction, while mentors strengthen leadership and coaching skills.
Mentees learn from real-world experience, and mentors connect with emerging talent and fresh perspectives.
Mentees build self-belief and decision-making skills, mentors enhance their influence and communication.
Both mentors and mentees grow their professional connections across the engineering community.
Mentees access practical guidance, while mentors share expertise and gain new ideas in return.
Mentors support the next generation, and mentees become part of a professional community invested in their future.
