The Defence School of Aeronautical Engineering (DSAE) provides high quality, relevant and up-to-date Aeronautical Engineering (AE) training to fulfil the needs of today and tomorrow’s front line – providing trained and motivated personnel to deliver the UK’s defence capability. With its headquarters located at RAF Cosford, the DSAE is a federated school delivering training at three separate sites; AE and Survival Equipment (SE) elements of Royal Navy training at the Air Engineering and Survival Equipment School at HMS Sultan in Gosport, the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers aviation training at the School of Army Aviation at Arborfield Garrison and Royal Air Force AE, Weapons and SE training at the No 1 School of Technical Training and the Aerosystems Engineer and Management Training School at RAF Cosford.
