The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport UK (CILT) has chosen transport planner Jim Steer as its new president-elect. He will succeed Graham Inglis in the one-year position from May 2013.

Nicola Escreet is new chair of the 1link Hire Network customer forum, representing users of epyx’s daily rental platform for major fleets. The move comes after Escreet assumed the role of deputy chair of the forum in May 2012, having been a regular user of the platform in her position of vehicle hire operations manager for Zenith.

Wrightbus has appointed Robert Drewery as business development director for UK & Europe. Formerly business development director for Pullman Fleet Services, a subsidiary of Wincanton, responsible for development of commercial vehicle maintenance and management services, he will now head up sales, marketing and service for Wrightbus throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
