The man tasked with keeping all of Gateshead Council’s 325 commercial vehicles on the road has been declared the best transport manager in the UK. The GreenFleet award – presented annually to the fleet manager who has demonstrated innovation, dedication and a commitment to carbon reduction – was presented to fleet manager Graham Telfer.
