The winners will be unveiled at the prestigious awards event, a luncheon that promises to be a celebration of excellence across multiple sectors
The much-anticipated Safety and Resilience in Engineering awards has reached a crucial milestone with the completion of the judging process and shortlisted entries notified. This year’s awards attracted entries from a multitude of disciplines, industries and countries, highlighting the growing significance and international scope of the competition.
Entries poured in from a diverse array of sectors with nominees representing both large corporations and emerging enterprises. This variety not only underscores the awards’ reputation but also demonstrates the far-reaching influence of the event on the wider engineering space.
Among the most notable developments this year is the increased global participation, with submissions from around the world with entries hailing from Europe, the Middle East and East Asia. This international involvement reflects the high regard in which the awards are held and speaks to the depth of competition, as businesses and professionals across the world compete for the top spot.
The Rigorous Judging Process
The awards’ integrity stems from its thorough and unbiased judging process. Over the course of several weeks, our esteemed panel of judges, comprising leaders from various industries, meticulously reviewed the entries. The judging panel brought a wealth of experience to the table, ensuring that each submission was evaluated rigorously and fairly.
This year, the panel was also joined by sponsor judges from the Road Haulage Association (RHA) and DAF Trucks, further enhancing the diversity of perspectives and expertise. Their inclusion marks a new chapter in the awards’ judging process, adding additional layers of scrutiny and industry-specific insights.
The submissions were carefully analysed by our expert judges, focusing on factors such as innovation, industry impact, professionalism and commitment to excellence. This vigorous process ensures that the winners represent the very best the industry has to offer.
The introduction of sponsor judges from the RHA and DAF Trucks was a significant addition this year. Their expertise added a new perspective to the judging panel, especially in categories related to transportation and logistics. The sponsor judges were instrumental in helping to assess the increasingly competitive entries, particularly those that stood out for their innovative approaches to overcoming industry challenges.
