The SOE is pleased to announce with immense pleasure the formal appointment of Emma Thompson MSOE as the Executive Director of the the Society of Operations Engineers (SOE), effective immediately. This follows her successful tenure since April 2024 as Designate Executive Director.
Throughout her time as Designate Executive Director/Head of Business Operations, Emma has quickly proven herself to be an invaluable leader guiding SOE’s innovative efforts in collaboration with industry leaders and key stakeholders. Her transition into the permanent role comes at a pivotal time for SOE as the organisation continues to grow and evolve.
