The IRTE North Eastern Centre hosted an evening visit to the Aston Workshops in Beamish in County Durham on Tuesday 21st February.
The visit allowed members and guests to enjoy a close-up view of sports, prestige and classic cars, incorporating ‘The Past, The Present & The Future’ of the classic era of Aston Martin vehicles. It also demonstrated the comprehensive and impressive prestige restoration programme that takes place there.
Centre members, industry and business supporters from across the region and network were all in attendance.
Members from the main dealerships, private and public sector businesses, truck, coach and bus industries were there, as were members from the MoD/Army, including the automotive and engineering companies.
The event was the centre’s first visit since the pandemic and showed that the North Eastern Centre’s Lecture & Visit programme is vibrant as we look forward to our next season’s exciting programme for members to enjoy.
