A highly respected and influential figure, Beverley became the first female Traffic Commissioner when she was appointed for the North West of England in 2000. She went on to serve as Senior Traffic Commissioner for Great Britain from 2012 to 2017. In recognition of her significant contributions to road safety and the freight industry, Beverley was awarded a CBE in the 2017 Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
